Fill a clean basin with lukewarm water (18–20°C). Add a small amount of dedicated cashmere detergent and dissolve it thoroughly.
Gently submerge your cashmere piece and let it soak for 8–10 minutes. This resting time allows the fibres to relax and release any impurities.
Clean the garment by lightly squeezing — never rubbing or twisting. Repeat the soaking process 2–3 times using fresh, lukewarm water.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water, then gently squeeze out excess moisture. Avoid wringing.
Lay the cashmere on a clean, light-coloured towel and reshape it carefully to its original form. Let it air dry naturally — away from direct sunlight or heat.
Once dry, use a steam iron from a distance of around 2cm to refresh the fibres. Fold the piece neatly and store it in abreathable bag to protect it.
Important Notes
Never hang cashmere knitwear for long periods — it will stretch and lose its shape. Always store it folded.
Avoid rain or mist. Even light drizzle can cause your cashmere to shrink or lose its softness. Please do not wear your cashmere pieces as outerwear on rainy or damp days.
Protect from moths. Natural fibres like cashmere are loved by moths — especially when stored for a long time. Use natural repellents such as cedarwood, lavender sachets, or herbal moth protectors in your storage space to keep your cashmere safe and fresh.
